Angelus Chronograph Steel Military 1940s
Here we have stunning Angelus Chronograph from the 1940s, a wonderful example of a rare and classic timepiece. Angelus is for most of the people a not very well known brand, but what it lacks in recognition, it makes up for in this stunning design. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with a light polished case in crisp condition. Dating to the 1940s this example is fitted in a perfectly sized, well-preserved 35 mm case. It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence. The dial is allover in clean condition with a great overall patina with only light signs of use. These chronographs were produced for civil and military reasons. While the civil version came mostly with a white dial, the military edition satisfies with a stunning black dial. The simple Angelus-logo alongside the beautiful hands are harmonious and well balanced. The luminous materials on both the dial and hands have aged to a very pleasing patina. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a handwind movement, running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with a leatherstrap in unworn conditon. This Angelus Chronograph is a very rare timepiece and hard to find again in this condition. It is a splendid model inside and out, so be ready for the constant compliments sure to come your way.
