BULOVA Chronograph "Blue" Ref. 31000 1970s
Here we have Bulova "Blue" Ref. 31000 Chronograph, a wonderful example of an unique and rare timepiece. Bulova is formally known for the “Accutron” Quartz-Movements but also produced beautiful mechanical chronographs in the 60s and 70s. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC features a "cushion" case with screw-down back which is approximately 37mm excluding the original winding crown (early examples featured an unsigned winding crown). It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence. The simple Bulova-logo alongside the clean indexes and reverse panda subregisters are harmonious and well balanced. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a calibre Bulova cal. 14 EB (base Valjoux cal. 7733), running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with a very cool stainless steel 70s bracelet. This Bulova chronograph is a very cool 70s timepiece and hard to find again. It’s a true WRISTCLASSIC with perfect proportions, timeless styling, and a great reference to the diving sports. This is the real deal, everything you would want in a vintage chronograph.
Why buying a vintage watch?
There are many great reasons to buy a vintage watch. Every watch we sell here at WRISTCLASSICS has its own story. Over the years, with every scratch, dent and aging of the dial, they have become unique timepieces of their own. This exact watch you are looking at now, once brought a lot of joy to the first owner with the purchase years ago. And now many years later this vintage watch will bring the same joy to your life.
