ENICAR Mantagraph 1970s

That’s a rare bird! The Enicar Mantagraph from the 1970s is something special. A truly beautiful and stunning example of a vintage watch from a small watch manufacture.  This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with a unpolished case in good vintage condition with sharp edges. Dating to the 60s this classic model measures 36 mm. It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence. The dial is allover in clean condition with the original lume. The dial features a two-tone composition with a daydate and red stophand. The simple Enicar-logo alongside the golden indexes and beautiful red hands are harmonious and well balanced. The daydate is usually set at 3 o´clock. The date can be set with a fast set pusher. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a  AR 219 (SEIKO 7016 A) movement, running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with a handcrafted leatherstrap in unworn condition. It’s a true WRISTCLASSIC with perfect proportions, timeless styling, and a great reference to the late 60s. It is a splendid model inside and out, so be ready for the constant compliments sure to come your way.

Enicar was founded in 1913 by Ariste Racine-Blatt in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The name Enicar comes from the second name Racine spelled backwords. Enicar produced different of divers and chronographs especially in the 50s and 60s. The most known watches are the Enicar Sherpa, Sherpa Jet and the Sherpa Graph “Jim Clark” Chronograph.
