Founded in 1833 by the Brothers Charles-Antoine and François-Ulysse LeCoultre in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, Jaeger-LeCoultre had a huge input on the history of watchmaking. Starting with the famous “douplan”-movement to the “Reverso” up to the great complications and endless calendars Jaeger-LeCoultre  left its mark in all the different sections of the watchmaking-history.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox, with its revolutionary alarm function, was first introduced in 1949 and evolved over the next few decades.
