Here we have a beautiful Jean Richard Airstar Chronograph, a very rare timepiece. This WRISTCLASSIC comes with a case in great condition with sharp edges. Dating to the 1960s this classic model measures 36 mm. The dial is in stunning condition. Specialty about this dial is the configuration. As there have been only a small numbers of these watches ou there, this dial-configuration appears to be one of the rarest. The beautiful Jean Richard logo on centre top alongside the stunningly faded lume are harmonious and well balanced. The Airstar writing below the handset is rarely seen. Down at 6 o clock the dial is signed with "swiss". Powered by a Valjoux 72 movement, running strong and keeping time well, it is ready for its job. The movement has been recently serviced. The pushers seem to be a bit small in compared with the other models out there. Also the caseback is different. It shows an "Aristar" engraving. Either this is a really rare version or it has been recased. This extraordinary timepiece is getting harder and harder to find nowadays.
