IWC De Luxe 18k Gold

This is a true and nice example of vintage luxury. The IWC De Luxe is from the 1960s. Case and bracelet are made out of 18k solid gold. This was probably one of the most luxury and expensive watches available back then. The vintage watch is allover in beautiful condition. This piece is fitted with an integrated bracelet. This brick-link bracelet is in great condition. The case and the bracelet have only small signs of use. The crystal has a small scratch between 12 and 1 o´clock. The movement is a cal. 853 automatic movement, running well and keeping time. Because of the exclusiveness these watches have only been made in small numbers. This is a true WRISTCLASSIC by an iconic brand. These kinds of watches were the best of the best in terms of quality, and with the addition of one of the most beautiful bracelets of the period.

The International Watch Company has been founded by Ariosto Jones, an American watchmaker and engineer in 1868. In 1901 IWC had already 190 employees. From day one IWC built high quality watches. The most iconic watch by IWC is the Grande Complication. It contains 659 mechanic pieces, among them 71 rubies. It has 17 functions and 12 patents, a perpetual calendar for the next 500 years and the perpetual moon-phase display. Other collectable watches are the IWC Portuguese, IWC Da Vinci, IWC Pilot's Watches, IWC Portofino, IWC Aquatimer and IWC Ingenieur. After two bankruptcies, IWC came back on the road of success.
