Here we have a Longines Tre Tacche, a wonderful example of an unique and rare timepiece. This WRISTCLASSIC is a military watch with a black dial, a sub-second and the typical luminous Arabic indicators and hands. The luminous material on both the dial and hands have aged to a very pleasing deep yellow patina. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with an unpolished rare step case in great condition with sharp edges. Dating to the 1940s this classic model measures 29 mm. The name “Tre Tacche” is explained by the back of the watch. “Tre Tacche” is Italian for “three notches” describing the triple indentations on the back side of the timepiece. The dial is in good vintage condition with a beautiful overall patina. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a caliber 10.68z movement running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with a Bonklip stainless steel strap from the 1940s making this watch allover an authentic vintage timepiece.
