Here we have a beautiful TH. Picard Fils Plongeurs Super Compressor diverwatch, a wonderful example of a classic and sportive timepiece. TH. Picard Fils is not a very well known brand, but what it lacks in recognition, it makes up for in this stunning design. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with a crisp case in great condition with sharp edges and only light sings of use. Dating to the 1960s this classic model is fitted in a perfectly sized, well-preserved 36 mm case. It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence and features a black internal rotating bezel with fancy silver minute markings to time diving times. The dial is allover in clean condition and the luminous material on both the dial and hands have aged to a very pleasing deep yellow patina. This watch comes with a impressive SUPER COMPRESSOR EPSA ( Ervin Piquerez S.A ) case. Super compressor is a trademarked name for specific case design made by the case manufacturer EPSA ( Ervin Piquerez S.A ). The deeper the watch went, more pressure was applied to the case back, pressing it against the O Ring gasket. So this patented case sealing method actually became more water tight. The simple TH. Picard Fils writing alongside the indexes and beautiful hands are harmonious and well balanced. The date is set at 3 o´clock. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a calibre AS 1700/01 automatic movement, running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with a steel bracelet in a “beads of rice”-style. This TH.
