Here we have a Tudor Oyster, a wonderful example of a rare and classic timepiece. Special feature of this beautiful watch is its great dial in an absolute vintage condition. It seems like this watch was slightly touched by history. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with an light polished case with sharp edges. Dating to the 1950s this classic model measures 34 mm. The handset in gold gives the watch extra charme and and character. The crown is original with the appropriate “Rolex Oyster”- lettering. What makes this watch rare and a real collecotrs item is the bumper movement. It was the first bumper movement by Tudor and was only produced in small numbers. Despite its age this WRISTCLASSIC is keeping time well. The watch comes with a leather strap in an good condition.
The brand Tudor is inseparably and historical linked with Rolex as its second brand. Mr. Hans Wilsdorf, founder of Rolex, wanted to combine a lower price segment and the high quality of Rolex. In 1926, the watch factory "Veuve de Philippe Hüther" registered the Tudor brand on behalf of Hans Wilsdorf. After relocating to Geneva, Wilsdorf acquired exclusive rights to use Tudor as a brand.
