ZENITH A3630 Diver 1960s
Here we have super cool Zenith A3630. The A3630 is one of the rarest Zenith divers among the S.58 out there. The beauty of this watch comes with authenticity and the story behind it. As one of the rarest divers on the market the A3630 was presented in the 1950s with the stunning GF ladder bracelet. For a true tool-watch, as the A3630 is, it gives this authentic timepiece extra charme and character. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with steel case in good vintage condition. Dating to the 1960s the A3630 measures 38 mm. It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence. The dial comes with a even patina and the bezel is in great condition. The simple Zenith-Logo alongside the silver indexes and beautiful hands are harmonious and well balanced. The crown is original with the appropriate Zenith-Logo. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a caliber 2552PC automatic movement. The movement (serviced 12/19) is in running condition and keeping time well, the date is advancing correctly at this time. The strap is the original Gay Freres steel bracelet in good vintage condition. This A3630 is a true tool watch and one of the rarest divers out there.
The watch manufacture Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot. In 1911 the name was changed into „Fabrique des Billodes“. One day Georges Favre-Jacot finished a new movement which he named after the sky and the stars: Zenith. This is how the brand Zenith was born. 1969 Zenith came up with the first automatic movement called El Primero. Till today the El Primero is one of the most iconic movements in the watch-world.
