FLUDO Chronograph Steel 1950s

Here we have stunning Fludo Chronograph from the 1950s, a wonderful example of a beautiful and classic timepiece. Fludo is for most of the people a not very wellknown brand, but what it lacks in recognition, it makes up for in this stunning design. This beautiful WRISTCLASSIC comes with a crisp case in great vintage condition. Dating to the 1950s this example is fitted in a perfectly sized, well-preserved 36 mm case. It offers a fairly wide-set bezel that gives this watch a nice presence. The dial is in clean condition showing a great overall patina with only light signs of use. The outer numerals are in a beautiful blue writing matching perfectly the large, blued-steel luminous hands. The simple Fludo-logo alongside the blue hands are harmonious and well balanced. The luminous materials on both the dial and hands have aged to a very pleasing deep yellow patina. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by a handwind movement, running strong and keeping time. As the servicehistory is unkown a service is adviced. The watch comes with a handcrafted suede leatherstrap in matching color and unworn condition. This Fludo Chronograph is a splendid model inside and out, so be ready for the constant compliments sure to come your way.

The brand FLUDO was founded in1934in Breuleux, by Fluvius Boillat. What started as a family business grew quickly to a bigger swiss watch manufacture. In the fifties the collection contains several dozen templates, and automatic chronographs, adorning the wrists of a rather wealthy clientele. If you want to learn more about Fludo click here.
