Movado Triple Calendar
Here we have a MovadoTriple Calendar from the 1950s, a wonderful example of an unique and rare timepiece. The very special feature of this WRISTCLASSIC is the beautiful dial with the original and aged lume. This stunning WRISTCLASSIC comes with a light polished step case in great condition with sharp edges. Dating to the 1950s this classic model measures 33 mm. The dial is allover in clean condition with a great patina with only light signs of use. Worth mentioning is also the eye-catching date hand in a deep red arrow. This WRISTCLASSIC is powered by an impressive movement, running strong and keeping time well. The watch comes with an unworn original Movado strap with original buckle. This Movado is a very rare timepiece and really impossible to find again.
Movado was founded under the name LAI Ditescheim & Freres SA in 1881 in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. The company changed its name to Movado in 1905. Movado has the meaning "always in motion" in Esperanto. This watch company is specially known for its minimalist style.
Why buying a vintage watch?
There are many great reasons to buy a vintage watch. Every watch we sell here at WRISTCLASSICS has its own story. Over the years, with every scratch, dent and aging of the dial, they have become unique timepieces of their own. This exact watch you are looking at now, once brought a lot of joy to the first owner with the purchase years ago. And now many years later this vintage watch will bring the same joy to your life. With buying a vintage watch you are showing your commitment to protecting the enviroment, instead of supporting the mass production of modern fashion watches.
I hope this helps you with your decision of buying a vintage watch here at WRISTCLASSICS.
