At that time, the watch cost 5650DM, which is about 3000€. A lot of money for a watch in those days. The watch was a Christmas present from a mother to her son. Therefore, the watch was picked up on Christmas 1986 - on the papers it says 24.12.1986. To make the gift even more personal, the mother had the case back engraved with "from mother 24.12.1986" and the son's initials on the clasp "HEH". This piece is a time capsule and has a beautiful story behind it. On top there is a very nice Rolex Datejust Ref. 16013 bicolor in great vintage condition, recently serviced and unpolished.
